There is no typical candidate for our summer associate program. The knowledge and experience within our Firm is as diverse as the needs of our global clients—and we want to keep it that way.
We look for people with a wide range of skills, aptitudes and personalities, with the potential to contribute to our growing success. At Dentons, we need to see a strong record of academic success and extracurricular achievement, but we also want professionals who can work well with a team and have the drive and ambition to succeed in a demanding work environment.
In our US summer program, we generally hire summer associates to work directly within one practice group, though in some cases a summer associate may rotate between two practice groups. Therefore, candidates should articulate their practice area interests during the interview process.
