Who we’re looking for

There’s no such things as a ‘typical’ trainee solicitor at Dentons and that’s the way we like it. The expertise within our Firm is as diverse as the needs of our global clients. Our clients are people with a wide range of skills, aptitudes and personalities and so it is essential that our people are too. All they have in common is the ability to contribute to our growing success.

Our clients particularly want to work with well-rounded individuals who have hobbies and interests away from work, so think about what makes you stand out from the crowd.

Being enthusiastic about tackling all tasks, both big and small, is essential, as is having the drive and ambition that will enable you to succeed in a highly demanding work environment. As a Dentons trainee, you’ll need to be able to manage a varied workload, whilst maintaining an appreciation of the intricacies, all of which provide the foundations of exceptional client service.

We accept vacation scheme and training contract applications from penultimate-year law students, final-year law and non-law students and those who have completed their undergraduate law or non-law degree. You must have, or expect to achieve, at least a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of ABB at A Level.
